Okay, thought I'd pull the swingarm off and really clean it up right? Wrong! I can't get the damn pivot bolt out. I know I'm not an idiot, but thought maybe I'm missing something. I got the pinch bolts loose of course, but I can't get the main bolt loose at all. I went and bought a bolt with the correct head size then threaded two nuts against eachother so i could insert one end and turn the other, but I ended up just breaking a crescent wrench, stripping the threads outta the nuts I bought, and pulling a muscle. Any ideas, I feel like I have to be missing something, but I can't think of anything. Maybe it was last installed by a gorilla, but.... The local stealership said they could get it for me, but I really don't feel like paying them.
Ps. I hit it with a ton of wd40 also and still no budge. |

WD 40 Sucks. Sounds like it should come out. Try some PB Blaster on it. Not that you sound dumb, but are you loosing not tightening?

I'd have to see it to give you any advice. When I took mine apart I just hit it with an impact and it came right out.

I did it with just a breaker bar and the motion pro tool. Add a piece of pipe to your ratchet/wrench for more leverage.

have not tried to do this yet, but in the manual they show a picture of a 1/2" drive breaker bar being used. Eat your Wheaties.

Yeah, now that I think about it Ratch is right, it's in there pretty good. You are either going to need a breaker bar, or get creative to make a breaker bar like Z suggested or see if you can get a hold of an impact
